Multimedia Libraries, Codecs and Command Line Tools

This project is a central place for audio, video and image libraries for parsing multimedia data (also known as codecs), tags or containers. It is also a place for multimedia data processing libraries. Command line utilities without GUI toolkit dependencies can be placed into this project as well. Please don't place end-user GUI based applications here, put them into multimedia:apps. Base your project on packages in this project instead. This project also serves as development project for packages around this topic in the openSUSE:Factory distribution. Before a version bump, I collect i586 and bootstrap binaries here. These are missing in released Tumbleweed snapshots, but are needed for building packages. ID3v1/ID3v2 Tagging of MP3 files

This module allows you to edit and add ID3 tags in MP3 files. ID3 tags are small pieces of information stored inside the MP3 file. They can contain bits of metadata about the MP3, such as album name, song name, artist, original artist, genre, composer, year of release, additional comment fields, and many more.
