zypper addrepo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:steffens:branches:Application:Geo:qgis/SLE_12_SP3/home:steffens:branches:Application:Geo:qgis.repo zypper refresh zypper install hdf5
For SLE 11 SP4 run the following as root:
zypper addrepo https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:steffens:branches:Application:Geo:qgis/SLE_11_SP4/home:steffens:branches:Application:Geo:qgis.repo zypper refresh zypper install hdf5
